Cloud, this is what you have had to say regarding Donald Trump:
I just wish they get the idiot Trump out the house and legalize medical/recreational weed in all 50 states. Then again, who would be replacing Trump is no better. The idiots who thought it was a good idea to vote this bozo should have there voting rights revoked....
I know your trying to create convo, but if you have to ask the question and you don't see it by watching him or listening to what he says, it's pretty self explanatory....
You sound like a fucking idiot too. I do not live in California stupid. I used to. No my number one concern isn't getting stoned you idiot. The current president is as much of an idiot as you. I don't have severe emotional problems you dumbass. And, if you voted for trump, you are an idiot who shouldn't be allowed to vote again...
You've offered up one reason for not liking Trump here: cannabis. And abknight might have been harsh, but you haven't given us anything else. You come across as a person who tries to see everything in black and white, devoid of nuance. I don't know if that's the case, but can you not point out anything Trump has done that you do like? I'm pretty far left, and I could.
I too would like to see cannabis legalized federally. And in all 50 states as well, however, the federal government doesn't control what Texas and other conservative states decide to do. Ending federal prohibition is just step one for us.
Trump has always supported medical marijuana, and waffled on recreational, although he did say back in June of 2018 that he would "probably" support the STATES Act, which was reintroduced to the 116th congress earlier this month. This is considered to be the most significant piece of legislation for both cannabis legality and states' rights in many years.
Also, it hasn't been that long since the Democrats had their super majority (2009-2010), and what did they do for the legalization cause? Nothing
. If Trump signs the STATES Act, should it pass, he will done something
Trump already signed the Farm Bill, which legalized hemp on a federal level; that it also something
Hillary had this to say (I'm guessing you didn't vote for her):
"On recreational [use], you know, states are the laboratories of democracy. We have at least two states that are experimenting with that right now. I want to wait and see what the evidence is."...
"I don't think we've done enough research yet. Although I think for people who are in extreme medical conditions and have anecdotal evidence that it works, there should be availability under appropriate circumstances. But I do think we need more research, because we don't know how it interacts with other drugs. There's a lot we don't know." - Hillary Clinton, 2014
More progressive than she was a few years before when she opposed it outright, but still less progressive than Trump:
"In terms of marijuana and legalization, I think that should be a state issue, state-by-state… Marijuana is such a big thing. I think medical should happen — right? Don’t we agree? I think so. And then I really believe we should leave it up to the states." - Donald Trump, 2016
You've denigrated your fellow Americans here, and said they "shouldn't be allowed to vote again", because they had a different opinion than you in 2016. But if I had cast my vote on this single issue alone, would I have voted for Trump, or for Clinton? I think it's clear.
don't worry. I will excuse myself from making further replies on the topic I created. Well, you three enjoy this amazing conversation.
Nobody wants you to do this, Cloud. We're all adults here. We can converse and be civil. Cheers!
