No new links to share, but I noticed this:

Our newest member DeathScythe

On the home page. I registered in 2016! So no one new or returning has joined since then!? Or, no one has approved any accounts since then? Kind of alarming either way.

I know that's true, but this board impacted my life and I was outcasted. What must it have meant for those that were active even longer, and why don't they get nostalgic?

It's also crazy to see some of these Wayback images from 2010, many years after my departure, where the board seems quite active....relative to now.

We better be hoping the remake kicks ass. I'd also like to see a mod pop in and confirm accounts are being approved.

Edit: I've decided I should try to contact Ambigore for the Geocities URL. I basically know his real name. Stay tuned.

Well, I missed most of the latter years despite me being allowed back and being here since 2012. Not sure how many people would have been cool with it. I got Chibitaryn and Reeve's blessing so, I'm not tripping on anyone else who returns and has an issue with me being here. TBH, without me and my rpg idea I truly believe the site wouldn't have had the golden years. And, I will be willing to write the check for that and bank on cashing it too.

So, no one can take that one from me. 14 year old me helped give this place life during an idling time. I'll take it. None of them (staff) thought of hosting an rpg here. I do miss roleplaying FF7, but to be honest the couple that they started here have been lackluster in comparison to back then and my Naruto roleplaying (what I have done for the last six years) and I roleplay dbz now. I would take over for the rpg area here if allowed cause I don't think (no offense when I say this)the person in charge doesn't have the experience I have nor the actual know-how on how to run one correctly.

Well, I'm not convinced we have any active mods or admins, and so there may be no one here to actually make that decision. I'm totally cool with you taking credit for the RP. That actually sort of jogs my memory somewhat.

However, I don't think you need to be the mod to run the show anyway. It's basically up for anyone at this point, since it's a graveyard. We can exist with or without an actual active mod.

It seems like SOLDIER and Seph would be down to participate in a new RP. And I'll participate too (I mean, there are only 4 of us, how can I not?). I haven't gotten involved because it seems like they're currently continuing an old story line I know nothing about. But, maybe we could do a fresh start? Maybe a post-Meteor story line? I think that's how we started.

If you want to start a new thread, I'm sure we'll all jump in.

I just don't like the way they are doing it. No offense. lmao and I'm sure Reeve is around somewhere, she is still admin. I know Clidus is supposed to be running the site. I'm wondering what the hell happened to both of em?

The @ff7citadel twitter account seems to be getting the most regular updates. Probably the best way to contact Clidus.

I never spoke to her, so I really am not gonna reach out to her. Plus, I don't use twitter.

Well, I will. I don't know them either, but I'm good at imposing myself on strangers.

I couldn't find Ambigore, but I reached out to Uncle Elmo on Facebook.

He says he's tried to come back, but is locked out of his account, and has unable to make a new one.

Which confirms my suspicions. Because we can't go 3 years without a single member, of ANY incarnation of our community, coming back to visit.

You can see his message to me and my tweet @Clidus here:

Sounds like I need to step up and become mod again! And, well that atleast explains why ole Uncle Elmo never replied to me.
