It's interesting (in a bad way) how hard Halloween was flogged in Oz this year. The main driver appeared to be the major supermarkets. I don't normally get cynical about holidays being driver by consumerism but I'm glad no kids came trick or treating because I certainly wouldn't have been giving out candy.
