Photobucket has ended free hotlinking (16 years of work on my own MB is down the drain) and Ultraimg is pretty crappy at best. Can anyone recommend a good free image host?

Well, nevermind about that. Yuku is down. And from the talk I've read over the last week, it maybe gone for good.
