Re: Catholic stuff

I don't want to delve too deeply into liturgical dancing, etc. It involves a lot of different things coming together including priests and bishops who don't really care about being Catholic, or if they do, they think they need to modernize it all to make it relevant. It's not just any one or two thi...

I can't speak to the Android/iOS releases, but the PC re-release from 2012(?) that you can get on Steam works great, and should run fine on Linux too if you enable the Proton service.

I will look! 8-)

Re: The best RPG of all time, 2019

Seph, never took you for a driving game fan! Never played much of them myself. Unless they involved violence in some way like the Road Rash series. I've played all the GTA's though. 5 was the first one I ever beat... because of the lure of just driving around and rampaging like yourself, or just pa...

Re: 2020 elections and current politics

I agree with SOLDIER, the best way to learn is immersion.

Biden is in. His handsiness hasn't eaten him alive yet. Hmmm. But will he survive being old, white, and having a penis? Time will tell I expect.

Catholic stuff

Rather than clog the politics too much, let's give it its own thread. Seph, you get your own post. Negative. Trads are always suspicious of priests and bishops who don't want to dress like priests and bishops. For Catholics, it's not just a job, it's a state of being, an "ontological" chan...

Re: Unsolved Citadel Mysteries

Kanari was one of those people who came and posted for a fair bit and then she became an infrequent visitor who would drop by and then be gone for months or years before doing another random drive by post. I had not a few conversations with her on AIM. I probably even have one or two of them saved o...

Re: Cobra Kai

Season one was excellent! Right up until the finale. I thought the show did not quite stick the landing. Miguel's transition was not fully developed.

I am looking forward to seeing what Martin Kove brings to the show. Time to subscribe to Youtube Red again.

Re: Replaying FF7

I don't have a console working right now. I need to find something on Ebay or my local game shop that sells used hardware. Even when my PS2 was functional, I was always hesitant to play after I read that the laser in PS2s burned up PS1 era disks. I had no idea if that was true, but I didn't want to ...

Re: Memory lane

Yes, SOLDIER pointed out I wasn't looking hard enough. I don't know much about Twitter either. I do know there is a setting to see everything in chrono order, tweets from people one is following and tweets that tag someone. And tags get added to notifications, so I'm going to guess that if Clidus wa...
