Re: What do you miss about the citadel?

I'm afraid the only people I heard from during my long absence were you and Seph.

It was Blue Shinra I was thinking of. Man that one was fun. :) I think I missed the alternate universe one you are referring to. I'm sure good times were had by all.

Re: What have you seen?

Cloud Atlas from 2012. I was interested in it when it first came out, but it was panned by critics so I reneged. However, I just rented it and very much enjoyed it. From the themes explored including slavery, love, and how the mistakes of history repeat themselves to the various plots. Despite the f...

Re: RPing

I forget how it went, but overall there was sort ...

Re: What do you want to see?

I must admit, I am looking forward to Gravity myself. I will probably see it opening weekend. My internal debate is whether to spring for 3D or not. I usually avoid 3D, but the zero grav environment of LEO would open up some interesting possibilities with that. My favorite discovery this year is a f...

Re: What do you miss about the citadel?

"Loveless"... Is that one based on that ridiculously amazing RP we had way back near the beginning that lasted months and pretty much could have been an epic story all on its own? Is that still on this site?

Re: What are you currently playing?

Perpetually World of WarCraft. Also playing StarCraft II and considering a hard mode replay of Mass Effect 3. I'm looking for a nice civilization building game (doesn't really matter whether it is historical, fantasy or sci fi), but hopefully not one that supposedly drags on mundanely like Crusader ...

Re: HHS Contraception Mandate

1. No. The word "right" in this context is thrown around a lot these days, but I think it is worth noting the original list of rights in this nation included tools such as equal opportunity which gives the individual the means to go as far in life and be successful in pursuits of their cho...

Re: The Miserable Lives of Afghans

Giving up in Vietnam was a huge blow to the U.S., especially since militarily we were winning but the press rounded up enough public opinion against it that we abandoned the people we promised to save and left them to their fate at the hands of Uncle Ho's army and "reeducation" camps. Mayb...
